Geosynthetics & Technical Textiles

Total product range is here to help you to build Stronger, Lighter, Greener materials

@Roussel Marc - Total

Responsible use of fossil resources is made possible through today’s best practices that dictate the use of geosynthetic construction materials like geotextiles, geomembranes and geogrids.

PP nonwovens have become essential elements in the durable construction of buildings and infrastructure projects: filtration layers under roads and breathable under-roof membranes for instance.

PPH 4069 for nonwoven geotextiles

PPH 4069 allows to increase both tenacity and residual elongation of staple fibers for an unrivalled toughness through an optimized degree of crystallinity and molecular design.

As a consequence the high energy absorption potential of these fibers enables downgauging of nonwoven fabrics by at least 10%, thus allowing a more responsible use of fossil resources and significantly reducing the environmental footprint.As a result of its benefits PPH 4069 has been awarded the Total Ecosolutions label.

Lumicene® MR 2001 & MR 2002 for spunbond Nonwovens

These metallocene polypropylenes will enable you to to obtain improved mechanical properties coupled to an increase of throughput, thus providing a step change in spunbond nonwoven manufacturing. A downgauging potential of up to 17% is achieved compared to market reference PP homopolymers.
